Official Registration for the telc German A1 Exam

Registration for the telc Deutsch exam is only valid upon full payment:

• For online registration, you will need a credit card or PayPal. Alternatively, the exam can be booked on invoice (payment due immediately).
• If you don’t have these options, please fill out the registration form and email it to us at: tests@primus-fremdsprachen.de. You will then receive an invoice which you can pay via online banking.
• In-person registration at the office is also available

Evaluation Times:

Current telc evaluation times are:

• telc C1 Hochschule: Approximately 3–5 weeks;
• All other telc exams: Approximately 4–6 weeks. (As of 17.02.25)

Cancellations for telc Language Exams:

In general, telc language exams cannot be canceled free of charge.

The following fees apply:

• Cancellation due to illness on the exam day (with a medical certificate for the exam day):
  • telc Deutsch A1 and A2: €50

• Cancellation without a medical certificate:
  • Up to 15 days before the exam: €50
  • 14–5 days before the exam: 50% of the exam fee
  • Less than 5 days before the exam: 100% of the exam fee
• If you fail to appear for the exam without a medical certificate, the exam fee will not be refunded.

Exception: If the withdrawing participant names a replacement participant, only a rebooking fee of €20 will apply.
