Registration, payment, general information
Registration is binding with the confirmation of your registration. You accept the terms and conditions of primus fremdsprachen, Nuremberg. The registration obliges you to pay for the booked course. The language training courses are VAT-exempt.
Registration should be made in writing before the start of the course using a registration form. To reserve a course place, the registration fee and a deposit must be paid immediately after the registration confirmation. The remaining course fees are due in accordance with the contractual agreement.
The price list valid at the time of registration applies. All additional bank fees occurring during the payment process will be charged to the paying person.
The person registering assumes full liability for compliance with the contractual obligations, even in the case of registering on someone else`s behalf.
If the language school provides third-party services (e.g. insurance, accommodation, bus transfer), the conclusion of the contract is based on the terms and conditions of the service provider.
Pricing, services, lessons
A teaching lesson lasts 45 minutes (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
The course prices include the following service: placement test if necessary / desired, written confirmations, information, internal school exams (telc exams are not included in the course fee)
If the student attends the classes regularly, a certificate can be issued on request.
A minimum number of participants applies to group courses. If the number of participants is lower than required, the school reserves the right to reduce the weekly teaching units until the minimum number of participants per course is reached again. The minimum number of participants required varies from course to course. The course description gives more information. The full number of hours can be taught for surcharge.
The course prices and any fees for teaching material, registration etc. can be found in the course description or can be obtained directly from Primus Foreign Languages on request.
The participants are bound to predetermined times. In the case of one-on-one teaching, the student can help determine the course times.
Extensions, change in booking, cancellation, absences
Course extensions must be made with the secretariat beforehand.
All changes to the original booking must be made in writing. The school can charge a fee of 10 euros for each change in booking.
No refund can be granted for absence from class in group courses, missed hours cannot be made up for.
One-on-one teaching must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the full hourly rate will be charged. Appointments changes must always be made via the secretariat. Short-term changes or cancellations are discussed directly with the teacher. Who then informs the school.
If the assigned course teacher is absent due to illness or other reasons beyond the control of the school, the school may appoint a substitute teacher or make up for the lessons at a later date.
Cancelled classes due to force majeure i.e. epidemic, serve weather do not have to be caught up on and are not exempted from payment.
The participant is solely responsible for his/her timely appearance in class. Delays, whether for visa purposes or for other reasons, do not entitle the student to reduce the course fee or to request additional hours.
There is no reimbursement of costs in the event of early termination of a course, a total booking of several course levels or late arrival. Due to goodwill, the course start may be postponed. This represents a rebooking and can be charged at 10 euros. If you cancel the booked course before the start of the course, the following scaling applies for retained course fees: Cancelations
Up to 30 days before the start of the course: 10% of the fees
Up to 14 days before the start of the course: 20% of the fees
Up to 7 days before the start of the course: 50% of the fees
From 6 days before the start of the course: 100% of the fees
Registration fees cannot be refunded.
Visa and confirmation of registration
The student is responsible for applying for a visa and paying the associated costs. The issuing of a confirmation of registration / confirmation of reservation requires the written registration and payment of the full course fee beforehand. A reduced deposit can only be approved in writing and in cases decided by the language school. This requires a special agreement and a note in the contract.
With the confirmation of registration / reservation, a visa must be applied for in due time at the appropriate consulate.
If no visa is granted, the language school will reimburse 90% of the course fees.If primus Fremdsprachen is only informed after the course has started that the visa will be rejected, the school reserves the right to withhold the entire down payment because the place was kept free and the school was not able to accept a substitute student. The conditions for reimbursement are:
– the immediate notification of the language school by the applicant
– the submission of a written rejection letter from the appropriate authority.

Furthermore, all original documents that primus fremdsprachen issued and handed out to the participant must be returned.
Additional charges for arranging study admissions will not be reimbursed in the event of rejection by the consulates or university(s).
The remaining amount will be refunded to an account given by the participant within 4 weeks.
Other matters
The course participant attends the school at his/her own risk. The school is not liable for any personal injury or property damage. Unless otherwise stated, the course location is: Kornmarkt 4, 90402 Nuremberg.
Verbal differing agreements are not valid. Any changes must be noted in writing.
Contractual obligations of the school:
– Conscientious preparation of the courses
– Careful selection and monitoring of service providers (teachers)
– proper provision of the contractually agreed services
The student must immediately inform the secretariat of any change of address.

Place of performance and jurisdiction for both parties is Nuremberg.
We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time.
Should these general terms and conditions or parts of the general terms and conditions be or become ineffective, the ineffective part should be replaced by the statutory regulation that comes economically closest to the meaning of the original agreement.
